Urvik's Journey: A Story of Transformation and Hope

Urvik's hyperactive behavior at the age of 2 alerted his parents that he might have some behavioral issues. He was neither able to speak like other children of his age nor behave appropriately with those around him.

This was an alarming sign for Urvik's parents. Concerned about his behavior, they took him to the doctor for a check-up, where he was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

Since they had never encountered such a case in their family before, this diagnosis came as a great shock to them.

Urvik was struggling with his studies and couldn't speak like other children his age, which became a cause of concern for his family.

After their visit to the hospital, they learned about the early intervention program at Sarthak Educational Trust, where therapy is provided for children with special needs.

They reached out to the Sarthak Early Intervention team, where they received a lot of valuable information about Urvik's disability and the areas where he was lacking, along with counseling on how to support him.

When Urvik joined Sarthak, he couldn't sit still or speak and was very hyperactive. However, once his therapy began, there were gradual and significant changes. His mother shares that he used to remain silent, but now he has started speaking, beginning with a few words. He can now form sentences and communicates with us. He has also learned to sit in one place and has started focusing on his studies. He can now name fruits, colors, and numbers, and much more.

Our entire family has found hope through the Sarthak Early Intervention Center, and we are hopeful that Urvik will continue to show improvement.

His mother says, 'We are hopeful that Urvik will make even more progress, just as he has in the last six months. With continued therapy, we believe he will improve further.'

Urvik's journey at the Sarthak Early Intervention Center has been transformative. With therapy and support, he has made remarkable progress, from struggling with speech and hyperactivity to communicating, sitting still, and engaging in his studies. His family's hope has been renewed, and they are optimistic about his continued growth and success.
