Namrata comes from a farming family. After her father's passing in 2020, her mother had to take over the farming responsibilities while also caring for Namrata and her two younger siblings, making it a challenging time for the entire family.
Namrata was born with polio, but her father always dreamed of her getting a good education and having a successful career. Motivated by his aspirations, Namrata completed her post-graduation and began her search for a job to support her mother and siblings.
Namrata never considered her disability a hurdle. Her father always taught her to stay strong and determined. In 2023, she even completed the longest trekking expedition without any assistance, showcasing her resilience and strength. Besides her job, Namrata also developed her skills in art and craft, allowing her to earn through her creativity alongside her regular work.
Coming from a small village near Amravati, Maharashtra, finding employment was a challenge for Namrata. During her job search, she came across Sarthak Educational Trust.
"When I joined Sarthak, I was hesitant and lacked confidence. But the training changed my life completely," shares Namrata.
She joined the Sarthak Pune Center, where she underwent training that addressed her challenges, such as low confidence, poor communication skills, and lack of interview preparation. These were areas she couldn’t develop during her college years, but with the training at Sarthak Pune Center, Namrata gained the skills and confidence she needed to move forward.
Namrata's enhanced skills proved to be valuable, and through Sarthak Educational Trust, she secured a job as a Computer Operator at Chakradhar Computer Institute. She is now earning ₹10,000 per month. Namrata is extremely happy with this job because it fulfils her late father's dream of her building a career. She now supports her mother in running the household and also contributes to her younger sibling’s education.
Namrata’s story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the right guidance. She believes, "Your challenges are not the end; they’re just the beginning of something extraordinary."
Today, she inspires countless individuals to dream big and overcome obstacles, proving that with the right support and determination, no dream is too far out of reach.
